Currently Listening to: Killola
So I have a week left to be a teenager. Then it's gone. Just like that *snaps fingers* And I was thinking of things I have to be proud of for my teen years. Here's a short list:
1. Came out of the closet (age 16)
2. Wrote a novel (age 17)
3. Went to Japan (age 18)
4. Got into a stable relationship (age 19)
5. Kept a good relationship with my mother (harder that it sounds at any age)
You know, the big things. I didn't count the best haircut ever or learning the guitar (I just suck, okay?), or things like that. I figure I have those 5 major things to be proud. It's a good life but I want to live it up, you know? Because in my twenties if things are still good with my girl there's marriage, she wants a kid before she's thirty (she's currently 21) and by then I'll have a career. Living it up won't be a good option for me. This is my pre-mid-life crisis. I've got the spirit of a drifter inside just wanting to see where the wind takes her... *sigh* At least when you turn 21 you get to drink, at 20 what do I get? A Killola concert for free >< Not bad.
